1) Do not use any bad words when talking.

2) Do not shout all the time.

3) Do not beg to gain ops.

4) Do not invite people to other channels.

5) Do not flood or repeat one sentence too much (More than 3 times).

6) Do not make people mad on you.

The target of #qfgs :

We, in "Quest For Glory Series" belive that it is better to get help on Quest
for glory through IRC than E-Mail, Since when you send E-Mail, you need to wait
until we open the E-Mail box, and it happens about once a week. On IRC you may
get your help immediatly from other dudes. You may also talk about any topic in
the world, even which doesn't have anything with Quest for glory except: Sex,
hacking and illegal things.

Tips:

1) Obey the rules even when there is no op in the channel. Ops may deop
   themselves, and op themselves when they want to. If you, let's say, use bad
   words, somebody may op himself and kick you.

2) If you wish somebody to ping you please type "!ping" (Without the quotes).
   Much people on IRC have an Auto-Ping script, which will ping the one who
   typed "!ping".

3) Do not just "Close" your IRC program. Disconnect first since your nick may
   remain at the channel as a "Ghost" (For details type "/msg nickserv help
   ghost", in one line without the quotes).

4) If you have another tip that you wish us to put E-Mail us from the main
   page on our site.

5) If someone sets mode +v on you it means you didn't obey the rules but the
   case was too small to kick you. +v means kickme sign and if that little case
   will repeat itself, you will be kicked.

6) If someone +v/kicked/banned you, you may ask him why did he do so, if you
   really don't know why. He must answer you. Ops are not allowed to kick w/o
   a good reason.

How ops are chosen?

It isn't useful to ask for ops since regular ops are not allowed to op anybody
else than themselves. Ops are chosen by the founder by their personality and
their actions in the channels. If you always obeyed the rules you have a great
chance of gaining ops. Regular ops may recommend the founder to give ops to
somebody. You may also send a message to the founder, but the founder will
never op somebody which he never seen.
